A local New Jersey company owned and operated by Britt Sloan, Spa Botanical (spabotanical.com) has developed a line of natural, organic and vegan body products. We have begun marketing them on an e-commerce site with some social media presence to expose the skin care benefits of using all natural, organic and vegan ingredients.
Feb 2012 | WordPress Website Designs - very SEO Friendly
Keeping content fresh and relevant is the number one priority of SEO consultants. Quite often the content that could be updated on your website isn't necessarily good for SEO but it is good for the website visitors. Instead of paying a website programmer, graphic designer or SEO consultant to add some basic text a Content Manager (CMS) can be used. Recently two of our clients have re-redesigned their website with custom WordPress designs. The search engine optimization had already been started in the prior website designs so it was critical to make sure the search engine visibility continued.
Both JCTonnotti.com and TotalQualityCorp.com found the WordPress content managers easy to use and the search engines have been responding to it favorably. Total Quality decided to re-design the site for a completely new look going from a dark red site to a more contemporary floating website in blue (see photo above or click on the image to see the website). J.C. Tonnotti opted to keep the exact same design and simply update the backend efficiencies (as they were starting to have problems with the previous 6+ year old website code).

Jan 2012 | Mobile Websites and SEO
Christmas of 2011 was huge for smart phones, iPads and other small pad/tab computer devices. This means to websites new concerns about how your website look on these smaller devices. Do you have to many graphics or pictures? Can people click on the buttons? How is FLASH behaving? There are a lot of new technologies coming out to deal with the rendering of websites on these smaller devices. One solution is to create a mobile websites. However, when you think of all the time and money you put into marketing your website with SEO, why would you create a new domain name and start all over again with a mini website? Two solutions seem reasonable at this time, to created mobile pages with links placed in the TOP LEFT of your page so smaller phones will quickly see them or re-design your website with new technology/code that will render well on any size device.
